5 Steps to Setting Up Agro Input Shops in Ghana

Step 1: Participate in Ghana's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified training. Basic level certification required

Step 2: You need a stationary structure with location address. You are not allowed to sell on trucks or moving vehicles

Step 3: Register with the Registrar General's Department for certificate to operate an input shop

Step 4: Go back to EPA and apply for a license ( estimated cost: 400 Ghana Cedis. Annual renewal). Kindly confirm the actual amount with the relevant officer in charge

Step 5: Subscribe to Agriculture in Ghana Media for news on Ghana's agro input sector and keep yourself updated. News subscription is free and always will be.

As an agro-input dealer, you need to be truthful to your farmers and sell them quality and approved agri-inputs. We recommend you sell products from CropLife Ghana member companies to be assured of farmer clients and profits.
